FAQs

We know that under the average sun exposure, the temperature in the space will rise, because the heat generated by sunlight is 283.6 BTU/sq ft, and the area of 25 sq ft is about 7090 BTU, which will far exceed QN650 Air Conditioner capability of 2350 BTU. That’s why the average cooling capacity of a car air conditioner is far more than 10,000 BTU.
If the insulation of the space is very good, or it’s at night, the situation will be much better. As there is no external source of heat, QN650 Air Conditioner will be a perfect cooling option for sleeping all night.

The ideal cooling area for QN650 Air Conditioner is up to 40 sq ft. If space is larger than that, although the cooling effect of the whole space is not obvious, you can also feel comfortable at a location closer to the air conditioner, especially near the cold air vent. You may also use two or more QN650/QN750 to work simultaneously, depending on the size of your space.

You can connect it to a 100-240V home power supply, generator, portable power station ( more than 500W) or 24V battery.
It is not recommended to use the car power inverter via cigarette lighter or car battery to power the QN650 as this will damage your cigarette lighter circuit.
It is recommended to use the EENOUR P2001 Power Station to run the air conditioner. It normally can work for 7 hours in cool mode (more than 7 hours in sleep mode).

QN650, like a traditional air conditioner, turns the gaseous water in the air into liquid. It uses gravity to collect and drain the generated water. The inside condensed water, depending on the humidity. You may raise the QN650 backwards to drain water to somewhere when it’s full.
You can also connect the water pipe comes with unit to drain the water to a collector/bottle or directly to the ground. Please make sure the drain tube cannot be submerged in water, in which the pressure won't let the water go through the drain tube.
It should be noted that when the boat is waving, the water may leak from the front or the side. It is recommended to raise the front of the air conditioner slightly when using it, and fix it well to prevent rollover. However, you don't have to worry too much about the product being damaged, because the internal circuit is processed to be waterproof for a short while.
Customer reviews

That's where it shines for us. We don't have central air, can't afford (nor want) window units in every room, and I'm tired of tripping over box fans strategically placed to push cold air along. We are able to move this to whatever room needs air most at the time. My husband can bring it down to his home office during the day and back up to the bedroom at night. We plan to clean our shed out this weekend, and this will literally be a lifesaver in the heat wave we're currently in.
An added perk I didn't realize with AC's, or at least this AC - put something large under the drain line. You'll be astounded how much water (aka humidity) it removes from the air. That's probably the biggest differentiator between these larger units and the smaller ones that are only glorified "swamp coolers". It removes heat and humidity just like a standard unit.
All in all, a big winner for us, and we haven't even taken it camping yet.

This unit is a bit on the heavy side, it weighs about 35 pounds. Not something you'd want to carry a long distance.
At the time of this review, there is no price listed, so I'm unable to say if it's worth the cost.

As expected the power of the unit was far below that of a 5000 btu window unit. I would not ever recommend this to replace a window unit. This is more of a cold air blower that cools whatever the vent is pointing at. I guess given enough time it could cool a small room. Also have the unit physically as high as you can as it seems to create a bit of a thermal barrier at the level of the unit itself.
As for weight and portability, it’s not super heavy and it’s more portable than any window unit. Be aware of the tubes hanging off both sides. They do hit things if you’re not careful.
Overall I’m happy with this little AC as a starter into this type of portable AC solution. As I test and play with it more, I’ll add to my review.

It does have 2 modes, fan and cooling both also have 3 speed settings - low, medium, and high. Per the manual it has a thermostat built in, so you can set a desired temp. Having said that, this is where things get a little tricky, the unit lists temperature in Celsius not Fahrenheit, I have not found a way to change that. The manual doesn't state how to change it, so I don't believe it does. It does in the manual list the degree range in Fahrenheit but even their diagrams show the screen on the unit in Celsius. Which isn't a big deal but I will say for the price, $699.99 (time of review), I would expect it to have the option.
The unit is portable, it's about 2 feet long, 1 foot tall, and not quite a foot wide (those are aprox. measurements, for a rough idea of size). I'd say it weighs somewhere around 15 pounds, give or take. So not exactly light but not heavy either.
Power wise is great, it comes with 2 cords, a regular outlet (110/115 volt) and a DC cable. The DC cable has two ring connectors on the end to attach to a battery. These are great options not for just camping or outdoors but for power outages as well. Now this isn't going to cool a huge area but it can make a noticeable difference.
In all it's a good product maybe a little pricey (no more so than others). This is definitely a special purpose unit, not a replacement for a standard one. So depending on your needs and considering the quality, it's not a bad deal, in my opinion.
---UPDATE---
I originally gave this 4 stars but have changed to 5. After leaving my review the seller reached out to me about the unit only displaying Celsius. They offered to send me a control board that reads Fahrenheit or to replace the whole unit. I declined both as the unit works great and it's not that big of an issue. I think though that level of customer service definitely warrants the extra star, which adds to my confidence in their products.
